Speaker 1 (00:10): And they told me you were musical. We had been warned. He's not just a movies and TV guy. He basically brings it in every facet of the arts. Speaker 2 (00:24): I know the circle of fifths. If you're a musician, you'll know what I'm talking about. And he's hit upon one of our pet topics here on the show. The Circle of Fits. It comes up more often than not. Speaker 1 (00:37): You made it. You finally made it here. We've been waiting for you for so long, Mark. Speaker 3 (00:43): The prophecy foretold that someone would bring up the Circle of Fits before we did. Speaker 1 (00:47): And it has happened. Speaker 3 (00:51): Creep Tapes is the show. The finale is airing as we speak. So this is, I can see just from the title, Sort of a freaky venture. Speaker 1 (01:04): Am I incorrect? Speaker 2 (01:05): Are you thinking freaky deaky or just freaky? And now, could be a distinction without a difference. You tell me. Speaker 1 (01:15): I was assuming freaky. If there's a deaky involved. Can we just love on each other for a minute? Can we just do that? Can we just do that for a minute? Before we get into business. We're going to do all the business. Can we just love on each other for a minute? Can we just give it up for one another? Okay. Speaker 3 (01:34): And just actually celebrate that we're in this room. Speaker 1 (01:39): We are sharing this space. We're all a couple of salty dogs. We've been at it. And this is it, isn't it? I know this is what it's all about for you. Bare bones. Independent. Raw. Raw. run and gun style lo-fi where point and shoot we do it's it's (02:05): sit and gun for us yeah right and not gunning really well I wouldn't characterize it as gunning we it's um we bring a Sort of pushing, like shoving at. Speaker 2 (02:23): Sit and stick. Speaker 1 (02:23): Push it with a stick. Speaker 2 (02:24): It's more of a nudge than a gun. So it's like a shuffleboard kind of thing. Speaker 1 (02:29): Yeah, but not competitive. Not competitive. Yeah, we're not keeping score. Yes. Yeah. Speaker 3 (02:34): Some people have tried to keep score in the past, and we said, la, la, la, la, we do not want to hear the numbers. Speaker 1 (02:39): Or any of that stuff. And you invented this. This is, like, this is, we are here because of you, and this is you, and that's why you have a producing credit that we've been putting on the show. I hope your shoulders aren't sore, Giant. So. Speaker 4 (02:53): I thought this was more of like a comedy pod, but this is more of like an independent film appreciators. Speaker 1 (02:58): It's like an independent film. Right. It's like Sundance when it was. Speaker 2 (03:05): In Utah, not now. Speaker 1 (03:06): And we have moments of levity. I would say that. Right. Oh, my God. I would say we've never had a comedic moment. Speaker 2 (03:11): So you'll yuck up on some Cassavetes-style humor. Speaker 1 (03:15): We don't turn it down. Oh, yes. Cassavetes. Oh, yes. Oh, Nicky. Yes. Like some good- Nicky, you crazy kid. Speaker 2 (03:23): Like Ken Loach exploitation of the middle lower class. Speaker 3 (03:27): Oh. Speaker 1 (03:27): Yuck-em-ups. You're speaking my language. I like it. Speaker 2 (03:30): And that's the kind of comedy that we love. Speaker 1 (03:32): It's slice of life. It's gritty. It's real. It's humanistic. Speaker 2 (03:37): I believe you, but I don't believe you. What's going on with him? Speaker 1 (03:40): You don't believe I yuck it up about Ken Loach? You... Pass me that Loach, bro. Speaker 4 (03:48): You are not only wearing sunglasses, but you're wearing sunglasses that are reflective, so no one can see what's going on. Well, this is a security blanket for him. That to me is not raw. That is not bare bones. Speaker 1 (04:03): What's rarer than my face being a movie that you can watch? I'm making a movie right now. Everywhere I go, running and gunning, and you watch a movie. Speaker 2 (04:15): I'm getting playback right here. Free playback. Speaker 1 (04:19): You use playback when you shoot? Speaker 2 (04:21): You ever look at playback? So you're changing the subject. Speaker 1 (04:23): I feel like you've lost the thread, Mark. Speaker 2 (04:25): And deflecting. Speaker 1 (04:26): I thought this was what it was all about. Speaker 2 (04:29): I came here. Speaker 4 (04:31): Anything can be movies. I was told that I could get raw and bare bones. Speaker 2 (04:36): But we need industry tips as well. Speaker 1 (04:38): Is there any bare bones on creep tapes? Speaker 4 (04:41): I would tell you, but I don't even think. I think it's just going to come right back at me. Just reflect right back at me. Speaker 1 (04:46): Let's pause this. So it's 3D? Speaker 2 (04:50): What did let's pause this mean to you? Speaker 1 (04:51): Hold on. Did it mean let's keep this going? Hold on. Speaker 2 (04:54): No, this is something we have to talk about. Speaker 1 (04:56): Let's pause this. Okay. Speaker 2 (04:58): I'm feeling a little bit challenged, I guess, by- What, you think independent filmmaking is easy? Speaker 1 (05:05): When I said that we have moments of comedic levity, he said, I believe you, but not me. It was actually several minutes later that he said that. Yeah. Later than what? Speaker 2 (05:16): It wasn't on the levity. It was on the raw and the bare bones. You got the levity. Speaker 1 (05:21): Okay. Speaker 2 (05:21): I mean, look, I'm fair. I'm fair. Speaker 1 (05:23): We're good. Okay. You have the levity. He's seen what I can do. We were going to love on each other. That didn't work out. Yeah. Speaker 4 (05:31): Yeah. Speaker 1 (05:31): And that's okay. We don't always. Some people can't accept it. Speaker 3 (05:34): I'm not afraid of conflict. It's hard for you to take a compliment, isn't it, Mark? And even now he can't. Speaker 1 (05:42): And that wasn't even one. So that's what's so crazy. I intended it to be negative. Speaker 2 (05:48): The thing I. Speaker 4 (05:49): Want to- I didn't take it that way. I took it as a compliment, and that's why I couldn't respond. Speaker 1 (05:53): Okay. Speaker 2 (05:54): If you want to try negative, we're going to do great. Speaker 1 (05:57): Okay. Well, let's actually address, though, Creep Tapes is the show. Speaker 3 (06:03): It's airing right now. We're about seven minutes into the two-part finale. If you started this episode at the same time you started Creep Tapes, which I do. Speaker 2 (06:11): Recommend- Now, the show will have. Speaker 1 (06:17): Bare bones. Speaker 2 (06:18): I think bare bones involved. Speaker 1 (06:20): Coming out of the screen. Do you want to, for people, for the uninitiated. Speaker 2 (06:24): Yeah. Speaker 3 (06:24): Do you want to describe a little bit about the show and let me put you at ease. Speaker 1 (06:30): You can't scare us. Speaker 2 (06:31): I can't scare you. You can't. Speaker 1 (06:33): It ain't happening yet. Yeah. Speaker 3 (06:35): It's not going to be an issue where we become afraid. So whatever you describe is okay with me. Speaker 1 (06:40): Okay. Speaker 2 (06:40): Understood. Speaker 1 (06:41): Understood. Okay. So. What network is it on? Speaker 2 (06:45): The Creep Tapes is on Shudder. Speaker 1 (06:46): Look. Speaker 2 (06:48): And it's on AMC plus. Speaker 1 (06:52): Good. Okay. We're good. Yeah. Speaker 2 (06:54): So, uh, creep tapes is about a man. Speaker 1 (06:56): Okay. Fake. Okay. We're doing good. That's so fake. Okay. Speaker 2 (07:01): So, uh, this man. Speaker 4 (07:04): He likes to hire people to film him. And he pays them about $ 1, 000 a day. Speaker 2 (07:10): You're skeptical. Speaker 3 (07:11): No, it's made up, so it's not scary to me because it's not even real. Speaker 1 (07:17): I know it's made up, and I love that. I actually think that was the exact right way to go for this show, for it to be fake. I get some of the same kind of weird ideas, too. You do? I don't find it necessary to film them all, but go ahead. Speaker 2 (07:29): Have you filmed any of them? Speaker 1 (07:31): So to date, we are in pre-production on most of the weird ideas. Oh. Speaker 2 (07:38): Not hard prep, soft prep. Speaker 1 (07:40): Okay. But yeah. Speaker 2 (07:43): And we are shopping some. Speaker 1 (07:44): Of the weird ideas. Speaker 4 (07:44): Let's break them down. Budget, cast, schedule, kind of what's the profile here? Because I actually know a bit about making independent film. Speaker 1 (07:54): About making film, yeah. Speaker 2 (07:55): And I kind of could advise on some of this if you guys are interested. Speaker 1 (07:57): It's called the Crepe Teeps. Okay. Speaker 2 (07:59): The Crepe. Speaker 1 (08:01): Teeps. Teeps. Okay. Speaker 2 (08:03): Is that short for something? Speaker 1 (08:04): Teepies. Our idea is the crepe teeps. Yeah. Okay. We didn't know if tepee was culturally insensitive at this point. And it turns out it's not. But at any rate, we covered our bases because it also is called teeps, which is easier to say. I wonder if that's culturally insensitive. Speaker 2 (08:20): It doesn't matter. Speaker 1 (08:21): That was kind of the one thing they were like, don't say it's hard to say. Speaker 2 (08:25): It does matter. But let's say we'll get into that later. Speaker 1 (08:29): Yeah. Speaker 2 (08:29): But it's called the Crepe Teeps. Speaker 3 (08:31): And it's just about all the kind of sick, pardon me, but fucked up stuff that can happen when you are making breakfast. Oh. Speaker 2 (08:42): And every episode opens on a hot pan. Speaker 3 (08:44): Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 (08:48): Then what happens? Speaker 1 (08:48): That's the type of shot that we use. And it lands on a griddle. Yes. Okay. A sizzling griddle. Speaker 4 (08:55): So we go from hot pan to griddle. We hot pan to the griddle. And I'm watching a show. Speaker 1 (09:00): It's a hot pan. Okay. Speaker 2 (09:01): So I know it's called the crepe teeps. I know that there's going to be something. Speaker 1 (09:05): And it's on. Probably like. Speaker 2 (09:07): Pancake-y, crepe-y, something, because I'm seeing the pans. Speaker 1 (09:09): And this guy was asking about cash. Speaker 2 (09:11): And I go for one, two, one to another. Speaker 1 (09:15): Budget and cash, you doubt us. Speaker 2 (09:17): He said, budget and cash. Is there a role for me? Speaker 1 (09:21): Is there a role for me? And is there a role of cash? Speaker 2 (09:23): These things are important when you're making independent films, gentlemen. Speaker 1 (09:27): Okay. Oh, don't I know it. Yeah. Speaker 2 (09:29): So where's my role? Speaker 1 (09:32): Breakfast is, that's for dinner. Speaker 3 (09:36): Hmm. Speaker 2 (09:37): As in dinner roll? Speaker 1 (09:40): Ah, shit. That would have been really good. Speaker 2 (09:43): Hey, you know what? Let's cut that out. Watch this, guys. Speaker 1 (09:44): Okay. Speaker 2 (09:45): There's going to be an edit here, and you're not even going to see it happen. Speaker 1 (09:47): Go ahead. Speaker 2 (09:48): So where's my roll? Speaker 1 (09:50): Roll? Sorry, what am I supposed to? I loved what you did, but I don't know if he's going to be able to do it. I don't think you got it. I do want to do something else. Speaker 2 (10:00): Casey, can you do this for us? Speaker 1 (10:01): What is it exactly that you want me to do? Speaker 2 (10:04): I need you to just be quiet. Speaker 3 (10:05): Well, he's doing casting right now, which is Casey has been cast now in the role of a host who. Speaker 1 (10:09): Gets a killer laugh. No, no, no, no, no. Speaker 2 (10:10): Casey doesn't get that role without my audition first. This is the role from the joke? Can you just complete the joke, Casey? Everybody be quiet for a second. Okay, so what is my role? Speaker 1 (10:18): I have a feeling I'm about to get this back. Casey? Speaker 2 (10:22): That's bread roll, right? Casey, can you be a little faster? So what about my roll? Speaker 1 (10:28): Your roll, it shows up at dinner? Then that's almost exactly like what I did. Yeah. Only worse. Thank you. That was worse. What's your name, by the way? And you can't even see the visual choices. You're not going to need it. Speaker 2 (10:44): What is your name? Speaker 1 (10:44): You're just not going to need it. Okay. Speaker 2 (10:46): Tom Cruise- Can we try the joke, please? Speaker 1 (10:51): Let's give us a shot. Speaker 2 (10:52): I'm afraid to because I've seen people. Speaker 1 (10:54): It is a little bit harder than it looks. Okay. And everyone at home, I encourage you to play along. Okay. Speaker 2 (11:01): I don't think it's that hard. You just got to be raw. You got to be honest. Speaker 4 (11:07): You got to do what Cassavetes Ken Loach would do with this joke. Speaker 1 (11:11): Yes. Okay? Yes. Okay, so here we go. Where's my role? Are you asking me? Speaker 2 (11:22): Casey, is there anybody else in there with you? Speaker 4 (11:26): Is there like a There's always There's a guy. Speaker 2 (11:30): Called Josh Who's Josh? Speaker 1 (11:32): Somebody else Who's Josh? Javier's here Javier. Speaker 4 (11:39): Can you come on the mic please? Yeah Have you been following along with what's happening here? Speaker 1 (11:45): Kind of. Okay. Speaker 2 (11:46): So let's give. Speaker 1 (11:48): This a shot. Speaker 2 (11:49): Let's just see. Speaker 1 (11:49): Typical audience member. Speaker 2 (11:50): It's a yes and situation. I'm going to say, well, what's my role? Go ahead, Javi. Speaker 1 (12:05): Take your time. That was a little. Wait, wait. Speaker 2 (12:08): He just muted. Speaker 1 (12:09): They're talking about us. Okay. Someone just turned the. sound down in there. Speaker 2 (12:16): Casey is, Casey is actually already off. Take it on the job of acting coach. Speaker 1 (12:20): This is very shutter coded. You know, I think I actually have gone right into the creep tapes. Speaker 4 (12:25): Maybe we should just, maybe I should just do a whole episode of the creep tapes. Like we just use the next like 22 to 25 minutes and I'll just like do it. Speaker 1 (12:33): Do an episode of the creep tapes? Speaker 2 (12:34): This is what it's all about. There's a formula for the creep tapes. Speaker 1 (12:36): I knew he was going to come in here and do a creep tape. Speaker 4 (12:38): This is basically how it works. I play this character who seems very jovial. And he hires someone to film them for the day, usually offers them about a thousand dollars. And over the course of the time that they're with him, they discover that maybe he's not telling the truth and maybe some of his motives might be a little more nefarious. Speaker 2 (12:57): But really what's at the core of it is loneliness. Speaker 4 (12:59): And my character is deeply, deeply lonely and he wants to connect. And when he doesn't get what he wants, it kind of goes bad. Does that make sense to you guys? Speaker 2 (13:08): It sounds somewhat predatory. Speaker 1 (13:10): It's not. Speaker 3 (13:11): Well, it sounds like you are trying to appeal exclusively to an audience of people who do feel lonely and can relate to the character. And as a comedy podcaster, I cannot abide. Speaker 2 (13:22): You can't abide. Speaker 1 (13:24): That is- Simply can't. So inappropriate. These people need our support. Speaker 3 (13:31): And it sounds like what you're doing- You know, we have an audience of people who have full. Speaker 1 (13:38): Rich lives. Right, right, right. Was there a pocket in there before? Speaker 2 (13:41): There was a pocket, yeah. Speaker 1 (13:43): This is, like, fucking crazy. This is like the Creep Tapes. Hold on. Speaker 2 (13:46): I'm just going to read you something, okay? I just want to read you something. I'd love to hear it. Speaker 1 (13:51): If you don't mind. Speaker 2 (13:51): Yeah, please. Speaker 4 (13:53): Dear Mark, we are happy to present you with this offer to appear on Hollywood Handbook. Speaker 2 (14:01): Which is a very, very. Speaker 4 (14:03): popular comedic podcast in which Sean and Hayes, is that one of you guys? Speaker 1 (14:10): Wow! Speaker 2 (14:11): One of you guys? Speaker 1 (14:11): Yes, that is. One of us. Speaker 4 (14:14): So what they do is they invite people to come onto the podcast. Speaker 2 (14:20): Yeah, checks out so far. And they make connections with them. Speaker 4 (14:25): But the characters that you guys play are not quite like the characters you are in real life. And so things kind of go off the rails a little bit. That's what it says right here. So how is that different than the Creep Tapes? Speaker 1 (14:37): They changed the language a little bit. Speaker 2 (14:39): No, no, that's what they told me this show was. Speaker 1 (14:41): It's supposed to be their characters are deliciously off-kilter. Speaker 2 (14:43): So I'm getting this kind of high horsey thing from you guys a lot. Like, oh, we wouldn't want to do that. Speaker 4 (14:48): But I feel like, I mean, quite frankly, this show inspired the Creep Tapes. I saw an episode of this and I was like, wow. Speaker 1 (14:54): Are you fucking kidding me? Speaker 2 (14:56): This is so deliciously malicious. Off-kilter. No, predatory and malicious. Speaker 1 (15:02): Yeah. Speaker 4 (15:03): And I was like, I'll do this. I can't do it as darkly as you guys do it because nobody's going to watch that. But I'll add like a little comedic flavor and fun. Speaker 1 (15:09): Yeah. Speaker 2 (15:09): And it's a hit. Speaker 1 (15:10): Mark. It's a hit. You're not going to believe this. What? Your show inspired the Crepe Teeps. Yes. Speaker 2 (15:17): Wait. Speaker 3 (15:18): I think we can admit that now knowing that you were so influenced by us. Speaker 2 (15:23): The Crepe Teeps, honestly. Speaker 1 (15:24): And so we were being inspired by us the whole time. Speaker 2 (15:28): So we went from- This show, The Hollywood Handbook, to the creep tapes. Speaker 1 (15:33): Yeah. To the creep tapes. Back here. You don't see the connection? It has different... I mean, it's not on Shudder. It's on Moan. Okay. What else? And we've been told that the show does not have as many moan-worthy moanments (15:53): that the network... We're not hitting the metrics. Right. Speaker 2 (15:58): Well, your show... just has cookware in it. Well, I'd like to say just. Speaker 1 (16:06): Just, right. Speaker 2 (16:07): Our show has- Exclusively? A fabulous array of cookware. Speaker 1 (16:10): Only. And the cook don't wear that much. Mm-hmm. And that's the truth. Speaker 2 (16:15): And you can sometimes catch in the reflection that the person operating the griddle is nearly nude, Mark. Speaker 1 (16:23): If you get a pool of egg white just right, It can actually be just like these glasses and reflect back some tantalizing treats. The glistening, runny egg white showing you just the edge of a bear thigh. Speaker 2 (16:40): Is the entire show shot through the lens of these glasses? So four different lenses. Speaker 1 (16:47): These glasses. This is incredible. Yeah. Speaker 2 (16:51): It's on Moan? It's been on Moan. Speaker 1 (16:54): We are shopping it now. Okay. Speaker 2 (16:57): To some other buyers. Speaker 4 (16:59): Well, this is funny because before we started, we were talking about secondary VOD windows. Speaker 2 (17:03): Yeah. Speaker 1 (17:03): It's true. Speaker 2 (17:04): It's true. And so Netflix is in the market maybe? Speaker 3 (17:08): That is one of the places obviously we've been flirting with. Speaker 2 (17:13): Did you say Netflix? Speaker 1 (17:15): Are they? Speaker 2 (17:16): I think he did. Did you say Netflix? I said Netflix. Speaker 1 (17:19): Okay. So we are talking to Nutflix. Speaker 2 (17:20): Nutflix? Speaker 1 (17:21): Yeah. Who's? Who what? Okay. Who what? Do you remember when there was a channel called Dog TV? Speaker 3 (17:30): No. Speaker 1 (17:32): Okay. No, we don't. Speaker 3 (17:34): All right. Speaker 2 (17:34): Well, there used to be a channel called Dog TV. Okay, tell me about it. And it was programming, I guess, aimed at dogs. Speaker 3 (17:42): And they would have footage of dogs and other things dogs might enjoy. Okay. Speaker 1 (17:48): Nut TV was like, let's do the same thing, but for squirrels. But it was Nut Flix, I guess. Okay. Speaker 2 (17:54): So it's Nut Flix, and it's a startup. Speaker 1 (17:58): It's small. Okay. It's really small. Speaker 2 (18:02): But they don't... It's one show. It's one show. Speaker 1 (18:07): In one home. Speaker 2 (18:08): How much does a subscription cost? That.... Speaker 3 (18:14): I would have to ask the guy whose house it was, but he is the only guy who has Netflix. Speaker 1 (18:19): Oh, okay. The issue with Netflix subscribers is you really have to wait for winter. Oh, right, right, right. Speaker 2 (18:29): It shuts down. It's seasonal. Speaker 1 (18:31): It's really seasonal. It's seasonal. Winter is when they are, like, really nut rich. Speaker 2 (18:36): But you know what? Speaker 1 (18:37): And you can start, like, renewing those subscriptions, like. Speaker 4 (18:42): I'm an independent filmmaker and I say you make art for art's sake. And if you only have one subscriber and they're only there six, eight weeks out of the year. Speaker 1 (18:50): Yeah. Speaker 2 (18:51): I think it's a win. Speaker 1 (18:52): And his name is Arthur. So that's absolutely perfect. Speaker 2 (18:54): I think you guys are doing great. His name is Arthur. Speaker 1 (18:57): Yeah, his name is Arthur. So it literally is art for Arthur's sake. Speaker 2 (18:59): And in terms of what a subscription costs. It's art for art's sake. Speaker 1 (19:02): Yeah. Speaker 2 (19:03): He didn't really get into that. Speaker 1 (19:04): He does not like to be called that. And that's the best thing about Netflix is we can really have an intimate relationship with our subscriber. And we have to. It's so easy to measure success. That's true. Speaker 3 (19:19): Because if Arthur decides to keep funding Crepe Teeps. That means that we are hitting all of our targets. Speaker 2 (19:27): How many episodes have you guys made? Speaker 3 (19:29): Well, it's only one episode, but it's so long and we keep adding to it. Speaker 1 (19:34): How long is it by now? It's like, I mean, what time is it? Yeah. Wait, hold on. Speaker 2 (19:41): It's like, why did you, why did you just ask what time it was? Speaker 1 (19:44): Because. Speaker 2 (19:45): Are we filming enough? Are we filming the crepe teeps right now? Crepe teeps for not. Speaker 3 (19:50): Is. Speaker 2 (19:50): Some of this footage is actually going to be. Speaker 1 (19:52): You had mentioned wanting to use this for Creep Tips. No, I didn't. And casting. You were wondering if there was a role for you. I want a role in it. Speaker 2 (20:00): I need to get my agents involved. Speaker 1 (20:03): It's lunchtime. It's 429. That's better time. Yeah. Speaker 3 (20:04): Okay. Speaker 1 (20:05): All right. Speaker 2 (20:05): I want a role in it. Speaker 1 (20:10): Yeah. Speaker 3 (20:10): That's what the pig said to the mutt. Speaker 1 (20:15): Am I wrong? Speaker 2 (20:15): You want to roll in it? Speaker 4 (20:18): So this is the moment in the creep tape structure where- Yes. Speaker 1 (20:23): We're hitting the structure? Speaker 3 (20:25): Yeah. Speaker 4 (20:25): You guys are perfectly on time. This is where the characters start to feel confident. They start to feel like we kind of have our feet under us. We know what's happening here. And this is where things start to switch a little bit. Speaker 1 (20:38): Something feels off. Yeah. Speaker 2 (20:40): I notice. Something starts to change a little bit. Speaker 1 (20:42): There's blood coming out of somewhere. Speaker 2 (20:44): No, no, no, that's later. Speaker 1 (20:45): Okay. That's later. And this is in a WeWork type environment. Like, how does this guy arrange the... the co-working space aspect of it to be able to make these arrangements over and over again. Speaker 2 (21:03): Yeah well listen airbnb vrbo they're wonderful. Speaker 4 (21:06): Places you can get in you can get out pretty quickly aliases are fairly easy to use but the best episodes happen uh when my character actually enters the environment of the victims under some sort of you know like oh i'm here because like i want to like promote my TV show. Speaker 2 (21:22): False pretense. Some false pretense. Some false pretense. Speaker 4 (21:26): So they feel super comfortable and ideally they have their own cameras already set up and the whole recording apparatus is already here. Speaker 1 (21:32): Right. Speaker 3 (21:32): Yeah, and the character's pretending he wants to appear on their show. Speaker 2 (21:37): And he's like, oh, I love your show. And he'll pretend like he's a fan of some weird-ass show that they're doing. Speaker 4 (21:42): Right. Speaker 2 (21:42): And it's like, he's clearly never. Speaker 3 (21:44): seen it and he probably doesn't have to offer up that much because they'd be so excited for anyone to be a fan. Speaker 4 (21:49): And you look at the first half of the show and you're like his hands were always above the table and then like the second half you're like his hands are under the table for like a really long time. Speaker 1 (21:57): Yeah like what is he doing it could be like interesting if he chose like a perfectly specific episode of the show that like wasn't that recent was just long enough ago like the. Speaker 2 (22:11): Anna Conkle episode for us You know what I mean? Speaker 3 (22:14): If someone came in and they said they'd watch that, I'd go, well, you didn't just hear the most recent one. You didn't hear one with just your most famous celebrity. Speaker 1 (22:24): Buddy or whatever. That is an example of something that would make me feel very disarming for me. Speaker 2 (22:30): Absolutely. My guard's down at that point. Speaker 4 (22:33): The thing is, he would have watched all the episodes, but he would have known that the Anna Conkle was a deep cut, and it's for the specific fans. Speaker 3 (22:40): Right. Speaker 2 (22:41): If you guys felt that he was. Speaker 4 (22:42): A fan of the Anna Conkle episode, then you're like, oh, he gets us. Speaker 2 (22:47): So we don't have to do anything. Did you want to take your jacket off earlier? And you can lean back. I'm so sorry to interrupt because you got it most of the way off. I did want to take it off. Yeah. Speaker 1 (22:55): Yeah, I did. Warm in here, eh? Speaker 4 (22:58): Yeah. Speaker 2 (22:59): Richie, you have him crank it up? Speaker 1 (23:00): That's Richie. Speaker 2 (23:02): I'm not going to take it off right now. Speaker 1 (23:04): And does he work with... accomplices or like, does he just operate alone? Is he able to go into these environments? Yeah. Does he ever have assistance? Speaker 4 (23:15): He is, uh, mostly a lone wolf, um, which might take that hat after I murdered you in, which I think will be in about, about 12 minutes. Speaker 1 (23:30): Let me just say, yeah, literally anything on my body is up for grabs to any guest. So please do not feel like it's real. Speaker 2 (23:38): Let's go to, let's go down the list here. You have to do that just to get the hat glasses, white t-shirt blue button up. What's this thing? Speaker 1 (23:46): Huh? Speaker 2 (23:47): Smartwatch. Speaker 1 (23:48): That is a purely decorative jewel. Oh, bracelet understood from the past. So, and that, that is important to me. Okay. Speaker 2 (24:03): So I can have that? Speaker 1 (24:04): This is actually a gift from my family. Okay. My whole family gave this to me. Speaker 2 (24:08): They all got together. Speaker 1 (24:09): I was on that email chain as well. Speaker 2 (24:12): You got a little choked up when you said that. I. Speaker 1 (24:16): I'm obsessed with my whole family. Speaker 2 (24:18): The whole family? It also was a goodbye gift, we should say. Speaker 1 (24:21): Yes. Speaker 3 (24:21): It was, we've had a heck of a run. It's been great having you be a part of the family. We want you always to think of us when you look at this. Speaker 1 (24:28): That's what makes me so obsessed with them. The one that got away. Speaker 2 (24:31): So they did a whole family no contact with you. Just all of them together. Speaker 1 (24:37): Yes. Speaker 2 (24:38): But with kindness, with love, with a keepsake. Speaker 1 (24:40): They did sort of an outervention. And there may be sort of a tracker or electrified thing. Speaker 3 (24:45): Chip inside of there that doesn't allow him to get within a certain radius. Speaker 4 (24:49): I really wish you hadn't told me that because part of the fun of what my character does at the end of these episodes is knowing that when the dispatch ultimately occurs, some people will really. Speaker 2 (25:02): Feel it would miss it would miss them. Speaker 3 (25:05): That's part of why you can't scare us yeah well I think we said at the top you couldn't scare us and I guess you don't want anything from my outfit or anything which is actually totally fine and you liked Hayes' stuff and you wanted the hat and you were curious. Speaker 1 (25:18): About some of that and it's yours but now that I know. Speaker 2 (25:21): My stuff I don't need you to want that well now that I know no one's gonna miss him. Speaker 4 (25:28): Maybe he's gonna be the first quick like MacGuffin kill throwing knife That's what it should be. Speaker 1 (25:33): You know what I mean? More of a jump scare. Just a quickie. Speaker 2 (25:36): But the really juicy sort of torturous, horrible pain. Oh, man, that was really raw. Speaker 4 (25:40): That Children of Men, that blood on the camera. It wasn't really an independent film because it was technically financed by a studio, but it had. Speaker 1 (25:46): The spirit of it. Speaker 2 (25:47): You're looking for a squirt? Yeah, a little blood squirt. Speaker 1 (25:51): I'm what's known in the business as a goosher. Speaker 3 (25:55): Yeah. Speaker 2 (25:56): When it comes to all of it. Speaker 1 (25:58): He's a slow dribbler. Everything. Liquid, solid, whatever. Speaker 4 (26:02): In my experience, when someone describes themselves as a gusher, they really are not. Speaker 1 (26:08): Interesting. Sort of stolen valor, gusher. Speaker 2 (26:11): It's a little bit of that. Speaker 1 (26:12): I've changed a lot of minds with what I can do, yes. Oh, really? And a lot of clothes. Holly. Speaker 2 (26:32): You want to say something. You want to be killed first. Speaker 1 (26:35): The show's really built in the edit bay, isn't it? Speaker 2 (26:37): It is built in the edit bay. Speaker 1 (26:39): Yes, it is. Speaker 3 (26:39): That's almost the final rewrite in a way. Speaker 4 (26:42): Well, yeah, we employ improvisation so that we can get to that raw. Speaker 1 (26:47): Gracious me. Speaker 2 (26:49): You know, intimate. Speaker 1 (26:51): Would be more appropriately designated Widow's Bay, wouldn't it? because it makes widows of many of our partners. Speaker 3 (26:58): Oh, yes. Speaker 1 (26:59): We must certainly kill our darlings and make widows of them. And our partners are at home as if widowed. Well, we are toiling away, cutting, recutting. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. Speaker 2 (27:15): I like to eat dessert first. I do the edit before the shoot. Speaker 1 (27:19): You do? Mm-hmm. Speaker 3 (27:20): Is that how the Crepe Teeps is also built? The Crepe Teeps has been that. It's been just us in there talking about interesting cutting patterns. Speaker 1 (27:28): Yeah. You know what I mean? Speaker 2 (27:30): Just really boarding that out. Speaker 1 (27:32): Oh, close, super close, wide. That's a laugh. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Two shot, two shot, three shot. Where'd he come from? Which is why I was asking what time it is because back in the Bay, we asked them to get 20 frames out of this thing by the time the podcast is over so we can go shoot it. Speaker 2 (27:52): That's not nothing. Speaker 1 (27:53): 20 frames. Speaker 2 (27:53): That's almost a whole second. Speaker 1 (27:55): Oh, yes. Speaker 2 (27:56): And they can't all come consecutively. Speaker 1 (27:58): Right, right. Speaker 2 (27:59): You got to find them where the audience isn't going to feel it. Speaker 1 (28:02): Yeah. Speaker 3 (28:02): But suddenly there's a tension. There's an energy that's been built by it. And if we're going to shoot this thing, we need those frames out. We've been talking to the boys in the bay. Speaker 1 (28:11): So what does he do? Like, I'm just thinking of this from an edit perspective. Speaker 2 (28:15): The guy, yeah. Speaker 1 (28:16): The guy. What's his weapon of choice? Like, what does the guy do where he's, like, killing a guy? What's he killing with? Speaker 2 (28:24): Well, you've seen all the episodes, so. Speaker 1 (28:26): I haven't seen the finale. It's airing right now. Speaker 2 (28:28): Oh, it's airing right now. Speaker 3 (28:29): The finale's airing now, and so what might be... Is there a unique new weapon, or it's always the same? Speaker 4 (28:34): Well, I would say the predominant weapon is his mind. Speaker 3 (28:40): And. Speaker 1 (28:41): Oh... Sharp. Speaker 3 (28:43): Deliciously off kilter. And do we learn his name? Speaker 2 (28:49): You do not. Speaker 4 (28:51): In fact, he has a different name every episode. Some would say he who hath no name. Some would say he who hath many names. Some people just call him Joseph because that was the name he had in the first movie. But that really may not be his real name. Speaker 2 (29:07): You want to know something really? Speaker 1 (29:09): I know that's not why you do this, but like. That's an IMDB hack that goes crazy. It is why I do it. You play. Speaker 2 (29:18): It's the only reason I did it. Speaker 1 (29:19): 400 different guys. The IMDB is moaning under the weight of the different guys. Speaker 2 (29:26): They can't handle it. And you know who else can't handle it? Speaker 4 (29:29): Who? Speaker 2 (29:30): Jeremy Strong. Speaker 1 (29:31): Yes. Because he. Speaker 2 (29:32): He's shaking. Speaker 1 (29:33): He wants to be the. Speaker 4 (29:35): Guy who plays all those characters Most of the characters. Speaker 2 (29:39): In one project, you know? Speaker 1 (29:40): Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 (29:41): He gets two, maybe three sometimes. Speaker 1 (29:44): You tell me your last name is Strong, I say he doth protest too much. Mm-hmm. Speaker 4 (29:49): What's that thing you said earlier, that strongman valor situation? Speaker 1 (29:52): Stolen valor. Speaker 2 (29:53): Stolen valor. I'd never heard that before, but as soon as you said it, I knew exactly what you meant. Speaker 1 (29:57): Mm-hmm. You didn't hear it beforehand? It sounds like you didn't really hear it at the time. No, I heard it at the time. So you've heard it a total of once. Speaker 2 (30:03): I've heard it once. And yet, no questions, no follow-ups. I know exactly what you meant. Speaker 1 (30:08): The power of language, isn't it? Speaker 2 (30:10): And I can't even see your eyeballs. Speaker 1 (30:14): You're not going to want to see them right now. So let's catch people. They're watching the finale as they're listening. Hold on, what's going on with your eyeballs? Speaker 2 (30:22): Pupils, gone. Speaker 1 (30:23): Okay, got it. Speaker 3 (30:24): Beyond pinprick, they are completely evaporated. Speaker 2 (30:28): Got it, got it. Speaker 1 (30:29): Yeah. Speaker 2 (30:30): Well, I do use my mind. Not I, my character, sorry. But it gets confusing, doesn't it? Speaker 1 (30:36): That's tough when that happens. Yes. Speaker 2 (30:38): That's tough, because then you guys start to realize. what is happening right now. Speaker 1 (30:43): We don't usually. Really? Yeah, that's another one. Speaker 2 (30:46): I gotta say. Speaker 4 (30:46): I've been hinting vehemently that this is an episode of The Creep Tapes. Speaker 1 (30:50): I'll take your word for it. Speaker 4 (30:51): That we are, in fact, now at minute 16. And The Creep Tapes episodes, they're rarely longer than 20 minutes. Speaker 1 (30:59): Okay. Speaker 3 (30:59): I gotta say, if I were to take a hint during an episode of this show, that would be the very first time ever. And if I was going to take any hint, it would probably be the many, many ones people have dropped that we should stop doing the podcast. Speaker 2 (31:12): And so we couldn't even be here. Speaker 1 (31:14): But that's another one where it's like, what are you actually saying when you say that? Speaker 2 (31:17): Like, what do you mean? Actually, what does that mean? Speaker 1 (31:20): When you say don't do the podcast anymore, just say what you actually want to say. Speaker 3 (31:25): Tell me what you mean when you say it instead of getting so like. weird and symbolic about it. Speaker 4 (31:32): There's a lot of word salad and passive aggressive nothing in the statement. You shouldn't do the podcast anymore. It's very confusing. Speaker 2 (31:41): I get it. Speaker 3 (31:42): He's saying he's going to the dinner roll joke and you said word salad and that's also for dinner. Speaker 1 (31:48): They like when I just get one off. Speaker 2 (31:49): When we put those together in the edit room, they're. Speaker 1 (31:51): Going to be right next to each other. Yes, yes, yes. Speaker 2 (31:54): And it's going to be very good. Speaker 1 (31:56): But I I do. Speaker 2 (31:58): Look, I don't want to rush anybody, but like we are two minutes from the end of the episode. Speaker 1 (32:04): Okay. Speaker 2 (32:05): So that means that you're both going to be dead. Speaker 1 (32:10): Okay. Speaker 2 (32:11): Within the next two, two and a half minutes. Speaker 1 (32:15): Like if that happened, what would you do with the last 45 minutes of our show? Speaker 2 (32:21): That, you're going to be gone. You don't have to worry about that. You're going to be fine. Speaker 3 (32:25): Well, I still can worry about the audience, can't I? I mean, for them, it's the only family he has left. Speaker 1 (32:32): It's like, you know, yes, I know some people think like, yes, I've got kids, but like, who gives? I'm dead. Speaker 4 (32:39): Well, if you must know, the first part of the episode- It's weird. Speaker 1 (32:43): It's awkward. Speaker 4 (32:43): There's some failed comedy. They're trying to get to know each other. Then things really, really ramp up and get tense and quiet. Then the murders happen. Speaker 1 (32:51): Right. Speaker 4 (32:51): And then the final part of the episode is more of like the Emmy bait where like I'm cleaning up the bodies. And as I'm doing that with like, you know, all good actors need business, right? Speaker 2 (33:01): So like, I have a lot of good. Speaker 1 (33:02): I always say this. Speaker 2 (33:04): I always say this. Speaker 3 (33:05): Yes. Speaker 2 (33:05): You gotta have business. It's whether it's- So that's where I get my- A pair of tweezers. I get the props in and the blood work in and the cleaning. And like, rather than look down the lens for my monologue, I'm kind of like doing it like off kilter and I'm kind of mumbling it to myself. Oh, that's an interesting shot, Mark. Speaker 4 (33:20): And it's a 45 minute monologue about what has brought me to this place. Speaker 2 (33:25): So that will be the rest of your show. Mark, that's a unique shot. Yeah, it's a good shot. Stealing that. Speaker 1 (33:30): No. Speaker 2 (33:31): Stealing that. Great artists steal, don't they? Speaker 4 (33:34): Let me be fucking clear right now. This is not the Crepe Tapes. This is the Crepe Tapes. I just want to be clear. Speaker 1 (33:42): I noticed. Why'd you do this? Do this? Speaker 2 (33:45): Are you going to try and kill me with the microphone? Are you going to? Speaker 4 (33:48): Because that's something that my character would do. In the middle of his monologue, he would start messing around with this. Speaker 2 (33:53): And all of a sudden, lasso, nose, lips. Lasso the nose and lips. Speaker 1 (34:00): Boom. Speaker 2 (34:01): Horrible way to die. Speaker 1 (34:02): Have his nose lassoed off? His nose and my lips? Lassoed together? With a, with. So wait, I'm kind of like. Live by, live by the, by the shore. I'm kind of like kissing his nose a little bit. Speaker 2 (34:12): Die by the shore. Speaker 1 (34:13): Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 (34:14): The shore is the name of the microphone, just so you know. Speaker 3 (34:16): Oh, okay. Speaker 1 (34:17): So Mark is pointing to the microphone. That should be what they call Widow's Bay. There's a brand name on it. That should be the tagline for Widow's Bay. Speaker 2 (34:22): Live by the shore, die by the shore. Yeah, pretty fucking good. Speaker 1 (34:25): Yeah. It's a good show. Speaker 4 (34:28): I still like the, it's the place where editing happens and you kill your darlings and they become widows. Speaker 2 (34:33): I think that's a more sound metaphor. Speaker 1 (34:35): And the widows at home as well. The widows at home. It's as if widows. Speaker 2 (34:38): How long you're spending in. Speaker 1 (34:40): The edit bay. Speaker 4 (34:40): The whole thing is like, honestly, this is the best thing you guys have done in 15 years of this podcast. Speaker 1 (34:46): I noticed you mentioned some failed comedy. That was really strongly implying to me that some of the comedy didn't fail. Speaker 2 (34:56): Is that what you were saying? I didn't want. Speaker 3 (35:00): To put a spotlight on it right away, but I'm glad you doubled back for it. Speaker 1 (35:04): I like compliments. Yeah. Speaker 2 (35:07): I do know how to take them. Something like this. Speaker 1 (35:11): I take them back to my room. All right. Let's try it. Speaker 2 (35:18): Let's try a couple of things on. Speaker 1 (35:19): Okay. Speaker 4 (35:22): Your fingernails are unbelievably well manicured. Which to me means you have a confidence about you. Speaker 2 (35:31): You're okay in the world. I've never seen a day of hard labor in my life. Yes, yes, yeah. Speaker 1 (35:37): You know what I mean? Speaker 2 (35:38): You took that well. You didn't really gobble it, but you took it well. Yeah, well, I mean, that's one where you don't have to tell me that, Mark. Speaker 4 (35:48): You are doing such an incredible job of hiding your inferiority complex. Speaker 2 (35:56): Next to your friend here that it's just. Speaker 1 (35:59): You barely see it. Speaker 2 (36:00): It's so beautiful, honestly. Speaker 4 (36:02): And when I say a good job of hiding it, we can all see it. Speaker 1 (36:06): You can see it. Speaker 2 (36:07): You can see it. But the attempt makes it that much even sweeter. It's not a flashing neon sign. Speaker 1 (36:14): You know what I mean? Yeah. Speaker 2 (36:16): It's a subtle. Speaker 1 (36:18): It's a. Speaker 2 (36:18): It's a blinking yellow light on a lone highway. It's lit up. Yes, yeah. Speaker 1 (36:23): Oh, that's so good. I love to do that. Speaker 2 (36:28): Yeah, and you're good at it. Speaker 1 (36:31): Oh, man. Thank you. Speaker 2 (36:32): As good as you can be, knowing that the one who's better at. Speaker 1 (36:37): It is right here. He's better even at that? Speaker 2 (36:40): He's better, yeah. Speaker 1 (36:41): He's better even at hiding the inferiority complex? At hiding my inferiority complex next to Richie. Speaker 2 (36:46): You know how I know this? Speaker 4 (36:48): The minute you guys sat down, look at the way your shirt is tucked and buttoned up. Speaker 2 (36:52): Look at the level of the zip on this guy's hoodie. Look at this thing. Speaker 1 (36:56): Ah, get out of town. Speaker 2 (36:57): He doesn't give a flying- Just an anorak. Speaker 4 (37:00): Fuck about, well, about you, but about anything. Speaker 2 (37:05): Well, certainly not about how I look. It's incredible. Can I pay you a compliment? Speaker 3 (37:09): Yes. You've done a tremendous job keeping your jacket on, even though I know it's killing me. Speaker 1 (37:14): Thank you. Speaker 2 (37:14): I wanted to take it off. You still have it. I wanted to take it off. Speaker 1 (37:17): Oh, I saw. Speaker 2 (37:18): But you know what I realized? Speaker 1 (37:19): Subtle. Speaker 2 (37:19): I thought about that widow's bay. Speaker 4 (37:21): I was like, I'm going to take this off and then they're going to be cutting back and forth to me. Speaker 1 (37:26): It won't match. Speaker 2 (37:27): The footage won't match. And the footage won't match. Speaker 3 (37:30): Continuity nightmare taking your jacket off in the middle of the recording. Speaker 1 (37:34): Also. Speaker 3 (37:34): Because we don't have a single clip here that's going. Speaker 1 (37:38): To be able to be unparalleled. Speaker 3 (37:40): No. Speaker 2 (37:40): That's going to be built. Speaker 1 (37:41): We're going to have to. Yes, find it. Speaker 2 (37:44): Okay, 30 seconds left until the end of the episode. Speaker 3 (37:47): Yes. Speaker 1 (37:47): Just really quickly. Okay. Speaker 4 (37:49): What's one thing that you wished, you kind of wish you had done on this podcast or a guest you wish you had before my, not me, my character from the Creep Tapes kills you guys in the next 30 to 45 seconds? Speaker 1 (38:04): Isn't it obvious? What? Bourdain. Okay. Speaker 2 (38:10): More Dane DeHaan? Speaker 1 (38:12): Come on. Speaker 2 (38:14): Dream guest. Speaker 1 (38:15): Dane DeHaan is incredible. Tony, of course. If we could have had Tony. If we could have had Tony. Speaker 2 (38:25): Yeah, we didn't. Speaker 1 (38:27): You really lit up at the mention of Dane DeHaan. Speaker 2 (38:30): I like Dane DeHaan. Speaker 1 (38:31): Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 (38:32): Speaking of kill your darlings. You know those could have been movie stars, you know? Speaker 1 (38:36): Special talent. Believe me, I do. Speaker 2 (38:38): Why is this person not a huge movie star? Speaker 3 (38:40): Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 (38:42): I thought Dane DeHaan could have been it. Mm-hmm. Uh, I still own some stock. Speaker 1 (38:48): You do? Speaker 2 (38:49): I still own a few shares of stock. He hasn't gone public. Little beachside property on DeHaan Island. Speaker 1 (38:54): Long DeHaan. Speaker 2 (38:57): Upper coast of Maine, still rural, hasn't popped yet, but it might. Speaker 1 (39:01): Yes, harvesting potatoes up there. I have a shit cord of his. Ha ha ha. Is it signed? I have a signed shit coin of Dane DeHaan. Great Dane. Marmaduke. Thank you, blockchain. Speaker 2 (39:23): Okay, so this is the moment when my character does a big reveal to you guys about what's happening. Speaker 3 (39:29): Oh. Speaker 4 (39:30): It's the mini monologue before the big 45 minute one. Speaker 1 (39:32): And the murder happens. Speaker 3 (39:35): So this would be if my character, if I'm in a creep tape type show, he hasn't really picked up on anything in particular. Speaker 2 (39:44): He does need it spelled out more explicitly. Speaker 1 (39:46): He's getting a little suspicious. Speaker 2 (39:47): And you're getting impatient. Speaker 4 (39:48): Maybe the time to go home. And this is where the rubber meets the road. This is where the shit cord hits the fan. This is where things go down. Speaker 1 (39:57): Okay. Speaker 2 (39:58): So, but I do want to offer you guys something. Speaker 3 (40:00): Okay. Speaker 4 (40:01): I want you to have the ability to also use this for crepe teeps because I've, I've grown to really like you guys. Speaker 1 (40:10): Okay. Speaker 4 (40:11): You got an incredible vulnerability. This whole bravado thing you're doing. You're worried you're not as good as him. You're worried you're not as good as him. It's so sweet. Speaker 1 (40:20): Yeah, it's true. Speaker 2 (40:21): It's like of mice and men. But it's London and McCartney. It's everything. But it's London and McCartney. Speaker 1 (40:26): Yeah. Speaker 2 (40:26): No. I mean, we're driving each other to perform better. Speaker 1 (40:29): Oh, no. Speaker 2 (40:30): He wrote a better song than I did. Now I got to go and get in the lab, right? Speaker 1 (40:35): I kind of have a lot of friends, I just want to say. Speaker 2 (40:39): But no family members. Speaker 1 (40:41): Yeah, but like, I'm, I'm good. Okay. All right. Speaker 4 (40:44): Um, but so we're going to use, it's going to be a Crape-Teeps crossover. It can also be, um. Speaker 2 (40:51): It's Kobe and Shaq. Don't you think it's Kobe and Shaq? Speaker 4 (40:59): No, I would say it's Dom DeLuise and Burt Reynolds in Cannonball Run 2. Speaker 1 (41:05): Right? Okay, and I definitely know which one I am. Speaker 2 (41:08): In the deuce. Speaker 1 (41:10): Yeah, we all know. Speaker 2 (41:11): We know. Speaker 1 (41:12): Don't even have to say. Yes, I'm Bert. Speaker 4 (41:15): But what else do we need for the Hollywood Handbook podcast to be complete? Because we got plenty of Crepe Teeps footage. What do we need in terms of getting the episode done? What do we need for the Hollywood Handbook that really makes this a zinger, humdinger of an episode? Speaker 3 (41:31): I mean, really the episode itself doesn't matter anymore. It's only about getting a functional clip that we can put online. There is no episode per se of any podcast anymore. There's a 90 second max TikTok from the episode. And then people say like, did you listen to this episode? And then everyone who saw the clip says yes. And (41:52): that's the only thing that can be discussed. Speaker 4 (41:53): So if the whole podcast was like a buffet- Like, the only thing that matters is the plate up front that shows you the kinds of things that are in the buffet. Speaker 2 (42:03): All that food over there. Speaker 1 (42:04): We need a crab leg. Nothing. And then we have kind of a mini, like, a little trailer for the buffet, basically. Like, we do that thing where we have a clip before the clip. Right. And then there's a clip. So, like, that's important, too. We got enough for that. That's awesome. And then usually how it ends is like the guest creates like a device within the show where they basically (42:26): are saying they have to leave. Yeah. They want to go home. Speaker 3 (42:31): Okay. Speaker 1 (42:32): We end the episode. They try to kill us. Speaker 3 (42:35): A lot of the episode is them feeling frustrated and lying they're going to leave. Speaker 2 (42:41): Well, I'm about to lasso your lips and nose, good gentleman. Speaker 1 (42:44): Have you not predicted? I'm watching. Speaker 4 (42:49): Okay, well, I just want to say this has been great. I do have to go. But I have a fun announcement to make before I go, which is that I pitched them an episode. Speaker 2 (42:58): I was like, it's going to be cool. It's going to be kind of meta. Speaker 4 (42:59): I think my character should go on a podcast. And they kind of mess around a little bit. They get confident. He sets them at ease. And then he reveals to. Speaker 1 (43:07): Them that- And you kill them? Speaker 2 (43:09): No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That would be my- Is the. Speaker 1 (43:12): Whole season them? Can I make a pitch? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can it be that you kill them? And can it be us? Do you- Can what you're describing be actually about us? Speaker 3 (43:21): Plusing that? Plusing that idea? To plus that idea up, which I love, Hayes. Thank you for thinking of that. I'll do plus that idea. Speaker 1 (43:29): No, stop. Speaker 2 (43:34): I'm catching on. I know what's happening here now. Speaker 1 (43:37): Stop plussing it up. Speaker 2 (43:40): Could you kill Casey as well? Casey, would you mind coming in here for a second? Speaker 1 (43:45): Bye.
